Why fluid analysis?

Every component lubricated with oil will experience normal wear rates. As these parts wear, particles will appear in the fluids that can be detected through regular sampling. Fluid analysis identifies contaminants that indicate wear in various components to predict when repairs may be necessary before a failure occurs.
